Transition programs get students ready for work, money and living on their own. In North Carolina, for example, Occupational Course of Study students finish with Employment Preparation classes, 600 hours of work training, a career portfolio and IEP transition goals. LevelUp Life 321 gives students daily practice between those lessons — on their own phone, at their own pace.
